Futuretech Components Limited (“FTC”) is committed to sourcing minerals responsibly and ensuring that our supply chain does not contribute to armed conflict or human rights abuses. We recognize the importance of transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in the procurement of minerals, particularly tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au) (collectively referred to as “3TG minerals”).
This policy applies to:
All suppliers and subcontractors of FTC that provide products containing 3TG minerals.
All procurement activities involving minerals that may originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries, or any other region of concern.
FTC commits to:
Responsible Sourcing: Procure minerals in a manner that does not knowingly finance conflict or contribute to human rights violations.
Supplier Engagement: Require our suppliers to provide information about the origin of 3TG minerals and comply with responsible sourcing practices.
Transparency: Maintain clear documentation of our supply chain and disclose sourcing information upon reasonable request, including through the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT).
Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve our supply chain practices, based on industry standards and guidance such as the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals.
Compliance with Law: Follow applicable laws and regulations regarding conflict minerals in the jurisdictions where we operate.
FTC expects all suppliers to:
Conduct reasonable due diligence on their supply chains to identify the source and chain of custody of 3TG minerals.
Provide CMRT or equivalent documentation to FTC when requested.
Promptly report any known or suspected use of minerals from sources that may contribute to conflict or human rights abuses.
FTC procurement and compliance teams will review supplier CMRTs, evaluate supply chain risk, and maintain records to support responsible sourcing efforts.
Suppliers who do not comply with this policy may be subject to review and remediation measures, which could include reconsideration of the business relationship.
FTC endeavors to source minerals responsibly. However, due to the complexity of global supply chains, we cannot guarantee that all minerals in our products are conflict-free. This policy represents our good faith efforts to comply with industry standards and conduct due diligence in line with internationally recognized guidance.
